Your channel is ready — but does every platform need its own integration?
Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Pluto TV, and Roku each have their own metadata spec, packaging format, and review process. Kaster lets you set your scheduling rules once and publish to all four platforms simultaneously — master files never move, and you never have to rebuild the integration for each platform.
With multi-platform launches, the real trouble usually starts after the contract is signed
Repeat integration work for every platform
Every FAST TV platform has its own API spec, metadata field definitions, and upload process. Land four platform deals, and you're rebuilding the integration four times — maintenance cost scales linearly with every new channel you add.
Formats and captions handled separately, platform by platform
Different platforms require different packaging formats, bitrate specs, and caption delivery requirements. The same program often has to be re-encoded and re-checked just to clear each platform's listing review.
Post-launch status monitored one platform at a time
Once live, you have to log into each platform's back end separately to confirm listing status, schedule sync, and ad-break delivery — making it hard to pinpoint which step failed when something goes wrong.
Schedule once, publish to multiple platforms simultaneously — no separate integration required
Unified scheduling hub
Scheduling rules, program rotation logic, and the EPG are set up once, and the same configuration syncs automatically to every connected platform — adding a new platform never requires rebuilding your scheduling logic.
Automatic format conversion & packaging
Files are automatically repackaged, bitrate-adjusted, and mapped to the metadata each platform requires. The same set of master-file derivatives produces delivery files that meet every platform's listing requirements — no manual rework needed.
Centralized listing & monitoring
A single console shows listing status and schedule-sync results across all four platforms, so you can quickly pinpoint which channel and which step is having an issue — no need to log into each back end separately.
Schedule once, launch simultaneously on four leading global smart-TV FAST platforms
From integration audit to synchronized multi-platform launch — four stages, typically
Distribution integration audit
Confirm the list of target platforms and each one's metadata, packaging, and review requirements, then prioritize the integration order.
Scheduling rules & format mapping setup
Build a unified scheduling ruleset and EPG, then configure the format conversion and metadata mapping each platform requires.
Platform submission & listing
Submit for listing per each platform's spec — actual review timelines are set by each platform, and Kaster provides integration documentation and spec support throughout.
Synchronized launch & centralized monitoring
Once listed, the same scheduling configuration keeps syncing to every platform, monitored from a single console for listing status and schedule-sync results.
The time each platform takes to review and list a channel is ultimately set by that platform's own review process. Kaster provides integration documentation and format specs to help shorten preparation time — this is not a guaranteed number of review days for any platform.
What you might still want to know about distribution
Q1Does adding a new FAST TV platform require rebuilding the scheduling rules?
No. Scheduling rules, program rotation logic, and the EPG are set up once. When you add a new platform, Kaster automatically converts them into that platform's required metadata and packaging format — no rework of the scheduling logic needed.
Q2How long does listing review take on each platform?
Review timelines are set by each platform, and Kaster cannot guarantee a number of days. We do provide integration documentation and delivery files that meet each platform's spec, which helps shorten preparation and back-and-forth revision time.
Q3Does the master file need to be re-uploaded for each new platform?
No. The master file stays in your on-prem facility. Only 1-5% is extracted as derivatives for format conversion and metadata generation — the original file is never re-migrated or re-uploaded when a new platform is added.
Q4Which FAST TV channels are currently supported, and will more be added?
Direct publishing is currently supported to Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Pluto TV, and Roku. Additional platforms are on the roadmap — contact our sales team for the latest timeline.
Q5How would I know if a platform's schedule sync or listing status runs into an issue?
The centralized console shows listing status and schedule-sync results across every platform, so you can pinpoint which channel and which step has an issue without logging into each platform's back end separately.
